Comune di Cimolais

La valenza ambientale del Comune di Cimolais, incastonato fra le più belle cime dolomitiche del Friuli Occidentale, la numerosa fauna selvatica presente e la specificità della flora, che comprende numerosi endemismi, ha indotto alla creazione di un’area che valorizzasse e preservasse queste specie faunistiche e floristiche.

Ubicato in località “Piana di Pinedo”, tra i Comuni di Cimolais e Claut e ai confini del Parco Naturale delle Dolomiti Friulane, il Parco faunistico PIANPINEDO ricopre un’area di 35 ettari.

Realizzato con la finalità di salvaguardare il mantenimento e l’incolumità faunistica, assicurandone una vita il più possibile vicina alla condizione selvatica, il Parco Faunistico si propone come occasione unica per entrare in contatto diretto con la natura nel rispetto degli animali e del loro ambiente naturale.

Il parco faunistico rappresenta uno splendido esempio di biodiversità. L'area gode del microclima delle alte vette dolomitiche pur trovandosi a un'altitudine di circa 650 m.s.l.m e vi sono ospitati i maggiori ungulati alpini (cervi, caprioli, stambecchi e camosci).

Percorrendo il sentiero botanico è inoltre possibile osservare le numerose specie vegetali e floristiche.

Located in the "Piana di Pinedo", between the towns of Cimolais and Claut and on the boundaries of Parco Naturale delle Dolomiti Friulane, the wildlife park covers an area of 35 hectares. Often we realize that we have lost the ability to observe and consequently to appreciate. Our Wildlife Park puts you right this lens: to enhance and amplify our perception of nature.  Made with the purpose of safeguarding the maintenance and security of each animal species, ensuring a life as close as possible to the wild status, both in terms of socialization and spaces, the Park is proposed as a unique opportunity to get in direct contact with nature and want to convey, both young and old, the importance of respect for animals and their natural environment. You will have the opportunity to stroll surrounded by unspoiled nature, maybe meet on your way some deer, roe deer, ibex colony or some lonely suede. It is not excluded that the marmots are peeping out of their den or a squirrel crosses your path. Not to mention the Fox, who just can not sneak into the fence... The Wildlife Park is a splendid example of biodiversity, because in this area comes in a natural way the microclimate of the high peaks of the Dolomites. Along the botanical path, you can also observe numerous plant species, some of them even rare, of which some can be seen inside the visitor center and be entertained by pleasant chirping of birds flying over our Valley. There are also numerous species of plants. Our team of experts and consultants are working with a lot of effort in order to offer the best possible service: handling animals, keep clean the trails and rest areas. It is our prerogative that wild animals will feel at ease and maintain their habits and that each visitor can leave our park enriched, especially on an emotional level, but also at the cultural level. Il Centro visita - The visitor centre

Il Centro Visita si trova all'ingresso del Parco Faunistico. All'interno del centro visita è stato realizzato un bosco virtuale con l’obiettivo di sviluppare il tema "La natura attraverso i sensi”. L'impressione del visitatore è di camminare attraverso un bosco, i cui tipici rumori sono stati amplificati. L'esperienza permette di ascoltare i versi degli animali, vedere alcune proiezioni degli stessi e osservarne le orme.

Sono inoltre disponibili alcune postazioni multimediali da utilizzare per approfondimenti e acquisire informazioni.

Upon arrival, the visitors are welcomed in the visitor Centre, real gate of the park. Here there is a forest in a room with the aim of enhancing the "senses of nature".This gives you the impression of walking inside a forest and a virtual cave, where sounds and smells were amplified in order to make them more noticeable.Visitors will be able to hear the animal sounds, see some projections and admire its footsteps. The multimedia stations will allow then to broaden their knowledge and finally to put them to the test with test of knowledge. For our younger visitors were made available coloring and small knowledge test. If all the answers are correct, our little friend will receive a gadget of the Wildlife Park.
